A welcome gift of £500 from North Devon Rotary Group Shop and a further grant of £15000 was generously awarded to the playing field by Devon Waste Management Ltd. This money, added to the sum remaining from Devon Waste Management’s previous grant in 2008, was sufficient to build the infrastructure of the pavilion. We were on our way…

Live on ITV on Wednesday night (24th November 2010) a cheque for £26000 was presented to the playing field committee after the project gained sufficient votes to win the head to head contest.

A big thank you to everyone who voted for the project, and an extra special thank you to everyone who spent so much time and effort in spreading the word far and wide to achieve this fantastic result. But don’t forget – the work goes on in 2011 !
