Christmas Walks

Two groups of parishioners and friends braved the cold wind and hail stormon the day after Boxing Day to complete the planned local walks.  Group one walked via Rectory Lane and Drunken Pit (– the long walk 1.5 hrs).  Group two walked via Fisherton and Hemmock copse.

Halloween preparations

On Monday the 28th October 2013 the villagers of Atherington and friends took part in a pumpkin carve and coffee morning.  Fun was had by all!  The children carved pumpkins into many different creepy designs.  Cakes were sold and a bring and buy sale took place.  Many thanks to all who generously supported the event.

All proceeds went to Atherington Childrens Playing Field
